ANGIE

How did you come to work at Pretty In Pink Boutique? I have been in the compression industry for several years. One of the Medi sales reps. gave my name to Pam and Holly. I met with them and discussed their immediate need for a fitter. I have a passion for helping patients with lymphedema, especially as a result of breast cancer. This opportunity allows me to continue to be both of my daughters Uber driver, so it’s a WIN/WIN. I am thrilled to be a part of such an awesome team with a heartfelt mission.

What’s your favorite thing about working here? Engaging with patients and seeing the reward in their faces, when I have met their needs.

What do you do to encourage patients in your job? Wearing compression garments can be daunting and difficult at first. I tell my patients to take their time, go slow, and each day it will get easier and easier to don their garments.

What do you do in your free time? When I am not driving my daughters to/from dance, you can find me at Burn boot camp. I also enjoy reading and traveling with my family.

Tell us about your family. I have been married to my husband Chris for 22 years. We have two daughters: Reagan, who is 15 and a sophomore at Central Magnet and Sloan, who is 11 and in 6th grade at Siegel Middle. We also have a spoiled rotten Shih Tzu named Bella, who rules the roost in the Turnbow house.

There are you originally from? I am originally from Cookeville, TN and lived there until I went off to UT-Knoxville.

What is your favorite quote or scripture? “They only thing in life that you can control is your attitude” -Garry Floeter (my dad)
