Operations Manager, Mastectomy and Compression Fitter, Team Member 2020
How did you come to work at Pretty In Pink Boutique?
I came to PIPB through my mother. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2019. She went through chemo and then had a double mastectomy in December 2019. Prior to her surgery, I took her to PIPB in Franklin where she was fitted for her post-op camisole. Endora was her fitter that day. Endora had such a bubbly, personable personality. We all chatted while mom was being fitted. She told me PIPB would be looking to hire at the beginning of the new year. Come February, I contacted Haley and the rest is history!
What do you do to encourage patients in your job?
I encourage my patients to stay strong! Some of our patients come in to see us right at the beginning of their breast cancer journey. There’s a lot of emotions and we, as fitters, do our best to encourage strength and courage when we see our patients.
What’s your favorite thing about working here?
I love getting to bond with patients and making them feel great.
What do you do in your free time?
I love to travel, garden, spend time with my family.
Tell us about your family.
I love my family! My parents and I are really close. I just married my husband in December of 2019 and we have a big, beautiful blended family with 3 boys and a girl.
