Mastectomy Fitter since 2019

How did  you come to work at PIPB?

I was a patient first. In 2016, I was 6 weeks out from a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction, and I came in for bras at our old Baptist location. Haley was my fitter, and I liked her and the company so much, I asked if Pretty In Pink was hiring.  She said no, but I wrote my name and number on a post-it note and gave it to her.  She kept that post-it note for 2 years! She called me 2 years later and asked if I was still interested in working here.  I jumped on that boat as fast as I could. 

What’s your favorite thing about working here? 

I’ve been here 9 months now as a Certified Mastectomy Bra Fitter and have loved everything about the work so far.

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time I like to read and meet up with friends for coffee or dinner on weekends.  Especially since I’ve had cancer myself, it’s important to me to maintain as well as build relationships with others.  Friendships are the most important part of a good life.

What is your favorite quote or scripture?

My favorite scripture is:  Provers 31:30    “Charm is deceitful and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised.”
