How did you come to work at Pretty In Pink Boutique?
I joined Pretty in Pink Boutique through my role model little sister, Casey Gregory, who works as part of the Concierge team. At the time, I was in a different industry and eager to expand my skills and talents. Casey shared her experiences at the company and the significant growth she had witnessed in a short period. I was captivated by the company’s values and vision. Now, I’m part of the Pretty in Pink Community!
What do you do in your free time?
In my free time, I’m always exploring new music and artists to listen to as well as seeing them in concert. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I love Meteorology, being a tourist in my own city, traveling to new places, discovering new dining experiences as well as learning random facts, languages, wine and coffee! Additionally, I’m into fitness and love to watch my favorite comfort shows like F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
What’s your favorite thing about working here?
As a new employee, I’ve quickly realized that this company operates in a family-like dynamic. Everyone has been incredibly welcoming, making me feel like I’ve been part of the team for years. The team is diverse, intelligent, and supportive of one another. This truly has been encouraging and special for me to become a part of.
Tell us about your family
How do I describe my family? In the simplest description, we’re Italian/Irish! Haha! We’re loud, expressive, creative, headstrong, etc. We have a strong bond and are very communicative, but we always prioritize family, integrity, hospitality and love. Being mostly Sicilian, one of my favorite words, albeit strong, is omertà, which stands for “code of silence.” An origin of southern Italy mainly Sicily, it has strong meaning, but ultimately it represents honor and family.
What is your favorite quote or scripture?
I communicate through music lyrics, lines from books and movie/TV quotes on a daily basis! Haha! I love Dr. Seuss (“Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”) and here is my version of a Dr. Seuss rhyme:
